Become an Associate

Qualification required for an Associate:

1. Any person Certified by the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria or similar organization within the Commonwealth of Nations and has been engaged actively as Loss Adjuster in the office of an Independent Practicing Firm of Loss Adjusters in Nigeria for a period of not less than three (3) years consecutively.
2. Any person who holds a Degree in Insurance or Higher National Diploma in Insurance from a recognized University or Institution and has been engaged actively as a Loss Adjuster in the office of an Independent Practicing Firm of Loss Adjusters in Nigeria for a period of not less than three (3) years consecutively.
3. Any person who holds any other Degree or its equivalent or Higher National Diploma or its equivalent obtained from a recognized University or Institution and who has satisfied the Governing Council of the Institute as to his/her academic, legal, technical and professional knowledge and has been actively engaged as a Loss Adjuster in the office of an Independent Practicing Firm of Loss Adjusters in Nigeria for a period of not less than seven (7) years consecutively.
